AgroCloud is our platform connecting farmers, FPOs, cooperatives, buyers and drone operators. It processes drone-captured RGB and multispectral data to deliver analytics as a service.
Drone operators upload data; the platform turns it into maps, indices and reports. Farmers, FPOs, cooperatives and buyers can view and act on this data in a shared ecosystem.
We are working towards integrating satellite data and other sensors as the system evolves. The platform is operational and evolving based on field feedback and technical learning.
AgroCloud is designed to be an enabling layer rather than a sales-heavy product. We do not plan to build a large sales team around it. Instead, we want AgroCloud to be a technical backbone on which micro-entrepreneurs, drone operators, FPOs and other enterprising people can build their own services.
Farmers, FPOs and cooperatives should be able to discover drone services when they actually need them – whether it is spraying, mapping or analytics – and connect with operators who are ready to serve. Over time, AgroCloud can also explore features that help farmers coordinate and manage their farms more collectively, such as shared monitoring of orchards or hillside plots, pooled analytics for a cluster, or coordinated spraying schedules.
Krishak is our agriculture spraying drone, designed at the intersection of mechanics, electronics, control systems and field realities. The core design is largely in place and can be completed once we are able to infuse sufficient funds for the next phase.
Krishak will need DGCA type certification, and our focus is on building something that is reliable, maintainable and suitable for real farm conditions rather than just a lab prototype.
We are based in Haldwani, at the foothills of Kumaon. Many of our first deployments and experiments are in and around Uttarakhand – hills, terrace farms, orchards, small towns.
